MeshOS is a new lightweight MeshCore firmware designed specifically for the LilyGo T-Deck.

MeshOS is a powerful embedded communications software for MeshCore networks, designed intricately to deliver close to smartphone performance for standalone devices with built in Lora radios, MeshOS removes the need for MeshCore client software running on Android/iOS and puts a complete zero distraction and internet free communications solution in the palm of your hand.

- Repeater scanner, find your own repeaters easily, add to whitelist. Preventing every repeater being added to contacts. (configurable)
- Last heard list with signal, distance, city area of latest received stations.
- GPS Map, no tile files required, dark style with worldwide city names and multiple zoom levels so you can easily see the location of your own stations, contacts and nearby repeaters (repeaters are shown regardless of whether you choose to add them to contacts). Fast performance when scrolling using touch or trackball. UK view has live full UK outline showing nodes in realtime as they appear, cool to watch!
- Trace Route: trace routes across the mesh and view signals per hop.
- Noise Floor monitor: See realtime graph of the current and historical noisefloor. Useful tool for diagnosing RX issues.
- Mesh Signal: see the status of the mesh coverage in your area at a glance much like smartphone bars. Also shows the ID of where the last Mesh signal came from.
- Repeater List: Seperate repeater list and management panel.
- Repeater Management UI with easy access to sync repeater clock, get stats, neighbors and send adverts. 
- MeshCore Terminal: First ever full MeshCore terminal available on an embedded device, from repeater management to public messaging everything is possible in this multi-colour live full-screen terminal. Bleeding edge features will be added here first! Terminal is also mirrored to USB serial so can be used with a desktop/mobile computer.
Everything that happens on the Mesh is shown here in the terminal history buffer, send a message on Public then open the terminal and you'll see which repeaters repeated your message, log in to a repeater and the command prompt for the repeater appears!  One for the real MeshCore deep-divers!
- Firmware update via SD card: Simply download the latest firmware from meshcore.co.uk, place on an SD card and update your device without attaching to a computer.
